Research interests

Dr. Rabia Shah is most interested in late preterm outcomes — the babies born just shy of term who are too often treated as full term. She studies NICU follow-up models that catch developmental and feeding issues early, and writes on cultural fluency in newborn care across the Gulf and South Asian populations she has practiced in.
