Dr. Rabia Shah is a DHA-licensed Specialist Pediatrician with subspecialty training in neonatology. She is currently a Clinical Fellow in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at BC Children's Hospital, Vancouver — one of five fellows selected worldwide. Before Vancouver she spent over two years as Associate Pediatrician in the Level 4 NICU at American Hospital Dubai, the JCI-accredited tertiary center she returns to in August 2026. Trained at Khyber Girls Medical College on open merit, she completed her pediatric residency at Shifa International Hospital Islamabad, holds MRCPCH from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and FCPS in Pediatrics. She has published peer-reviewed papers in pediatric and neonatal medicine, including Pediatric Pulmonology and the European Respiratory Journal, and lectures internationally to MRCPCH Clinical Exam candidates.

Dr. Rabia Shah is a DHA-licensed Specialist Pediatrician practicing in Dubai, with deep subspecialty training in neonatology. She is currently a Clinical Fellow in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at BC Children's Hospital, Vancouver, having been selected as one of five fellows worldwide for the competitive two-year program. Her clinical focus is on newborns, NICU care, and the first 1,000 days of a child's life. Before Vancouver, she spent over two years as Associate Pediatrician in the Level 4 NICU at American Hospital Dubai — a JCI-accredited tertiary center staffed by Western board-certified neonatologists — and returns to AHD in August 2026 to continue her clinical practice. She trained at Khyber Girls Medical College on open merit, completed her pediatric residency and neonatology clinical fellowship at Shifa International Hospital Islamabad (also JCI-accredited), holds MRCPCH from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and FCPS in Pediatrics from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan, and holds the DHA Specialist License #48833745-002. She is a published researcher with peer-reviewed papers in pediatric and neonatal medicine — including Pediatric Pulmonology, the European Respiratory Journal, the World Journal of Clinical Pediatrics, and PubMed-indexed case reports — and has lectured internationally to doctors preparing for the MRCPCH Clinical examination. She speaks English, Urdu, and clinical Arabic, and writes regularly for parents on evidence-based newborn and pediatric care.
